Services Provided
Husband semen processing (AIH)
On the spot semen processing for sample provided by husband for use during IUI, IVF for his wife.
Donor’s frozen semen samples (AID)
- Ready to use semen samples for insemination, no further processing required.
- Delivered in liquid nitrogen at your door step.
- Each vial contains a minimum of 20-25 million motile sperms ( Motility 50-70 % and efficiency 85 % )
- All samples are quarantined for a minimum of six months
- All Donors are screened for HIV I & II, HBs Ag & Anti HCV Igm (Hepatitis B & C), VDRL, Chlamydia and Thalassemia (Tests repeated every 180 days).
- Donor blood group and physical characteristics available for matching.
- Multiple insemination with SAME DONOR samples possible.
- Facilities for reservation of a particular sample for a particular couple ( which gave POSITIVE RESULT during IUI/ IVF) is available for future pregnancies.
Auto preservation Facilities for preservation of semen samples for a longer duration (up to 20 years) is available.
Why It is Required and What It is Useful For
Patients undergoing cancer therapy
Such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Patients are advised to have their sperms frozen and preserved, to be used in future.
Ejaculatory dysfunction and low sperm count problem
Different samples from the patient can be pooled together to increase the chances of achieving pregnancy.
Male member not available for a longer duration
Persons leaving for abroad, army personnel deputed away on duty for a longer duration can have their sperms frozen and preserved so that female partners can continue with her reproductive schedule with husband’s preserved samples.

Donor Matching and selection:
A special and unique service of donor matching for couples is available. For this, couples are advised to visit bank and meet our Director where they will be asked to answer on certain check points like their physical details, blood group, hobbies, family background and genetics history, qualification and IQ level etc. This accurate and comprehensive information received from the couple will then be matched with the prospective donor’s details and best suited sample is provided.

Services Provided:
Provides complete range of various sperm processing and wash media in sealed ampoules for semen testing and preservation. These are exclusively used by doctors and embryologists only.( These products are for research purpose only)
Single layer density gradient (2ml) – 70%
It is a highly efficient, fast & cost effective method of processing semen samples which effectively remove all contaminants like debris, Pus cells and concentrates motile sperms yielding a sample which is almost free from dead and abnormal sperms. This method is useful for normal and Oligospermic semen samples.
Double layer density gradient (1 ml) 45% and 90%
Effectively removes contaminants like debris, Pus cells, dead & abnormal sperms. The procedure is very effective for high count, agglutinated and highly viscous samples ( eg. High count & low motility ) to make them suitable for IUI/IVF and ICSI.
HTF-10 (Human Tubal Fluid) solutions (5ml)
This is a wash solution used for washing of sperms.
It contains many salts like Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Sulphate, Anhydrous potassium Phophate, Sodium bicarbonate, HEPES, Glucose, Sodium Pyruvate, Sodium Lactate, Glutamine, Taurine ,EDTA, Gentamycin , Human Serum Albumin and Phenol red etc.
It is tested using one-cell mouse embryo bioassay and endotoxin assays to ensure quality and safety.
Taurine and EDTA are added as they are beneficial components for sperm quality. Taurine has a role in sperm capacitation and has demonstrated a protective effect against peroxidative damage and reactive oxygen species. EDTA enhances sperm cell motility. Addition of antioxidants help to reduce the build-up of DNA damage due to ROS . HOW EVER THESE PRODUCTS ARE FOR RESEARCH PURPOSE ONLY and to be used by Qualified & experienced doctors.
HAMF-10 solution (5ml)
This is also a wash solution used for washing of sperms. Contains HEPES buffer suitable for high counts and Motility. Most of the constituents are same as that of HTF 10 with minor changes.
The above solutions are prepared, blended and packed under strict quality control & contamination free conditions in accordance with the international standards.
